C2 Enterprises is a full service lawn care company in Tampa. We service Western Hillsborough county, Oldsmar and the Citrus Park area. We started 3 years ago with a single push mower and the motivation to make our lawn service company the leader in Tampa Bay.

Mole Crickets
So you just saw a mole cricket on your sidewalk. Time to get the pesticide out and get rid of them before they get out of control. Too late, they already are.
What you are seeing are the adult Mole Cricket, which are much harder to kill than when they were a larvae. The best time to apply a pesticide is early spring. Once mole crickets reach their adult life they burrow deep beneath the soil during the day and make their way to the top of the soil in the evening. They can burrow up to 20 ft a night only a few inches below the grass line at night. They disturb the roots of the grass causing them to burn out in the hot sun.

Having your lawn cut on a regular basis will help prevent weeds from growing. Weeds feed from the top down to the root, whereas grass feeds from the root up. Keeping your lawn cut helps the grass grow faster than the weeds can.
When having your lawn cut, the grass should not be cut lower than 3 inches from the soil. Taller grass helps prevent weeds from germinating.
